‘Hardship In Nigeria Falls Down To Bad Decision From Leaders’- Obaseki

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki said that Nigeria’s present hardship is long-foreseen and falls down to bad decisions made by Nigeria’s politicians.

Obaseki made this known in a report by AIT at a Christian gathering on Sunday.

He explained that the bad decision-making of Nigerian politicians has resulted in suffering and hardship for Nigerians.

He also highlighted that Nigeria is blessed with every needed material to succeed, unlike other countries in the world.

During his speech, he said, “I know, as a governor, the pain and suffering we are going through in the land. Unlike you, because I understand how the economy works. I saw it ahead of time. And I have been shouting since I became governor. The way we are going, the kind of decisions many of those politicians are making, and the way we are going about Nigeria are only going to bring about hardship. Nigeria was never like this before. God, in his infinite mercy, has endowed Nigeria like no other country in the world.”

“Most of those Nigerians don’t act like Christians. And that has been my opinion and advice. If you are a leader and you are not ready to take care of yourself, and you think that leadership is about how much you can get, how much you can take for yourself, then I am sorry, it’s between you and God.”
