The Katsina State Hisbah Board has prohibited nightclub activities throughout the state, citing Islamic principles and the importance of maintaining moral standards.
The announcement was made by the Hisbah Commander-General, Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar), in a statement released on Wednesday in Katsina.
Usman emphasized that nightclub owners are required to close their venues to curb immoral behavior, preserve societal values, and address security issues in the state.

“The board warned that violators would face strict penalties. Security agencies have been instructed to ensure full compliance with the order.
“We are committed to building a morally upright society and ensuring peace and security in Katsina State,” Usman said.
