Renowned broadcaster and journalist, Oseni Rufai has questioned the frequent act of Coca-Cola investment of one billion dollars in Nigeria every time of the year.
He noted that the same amount of investment was heard from the company in year 2021, thus repetition of such amount in year 2024 is questionable.
Rufai made this statement in a post on his X handle on Friday.
Recall that on Thursday, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company said it planned to invest $1 billion in Nigeria in expansion of its business in over five years. The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Zoran Bogdanovic, revealed the plan during his visit to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

His post reads,”How many times will Coca-Cola invest 1billion dollars in Nigeria over a 5 year span.
“In 2021, they invested 1 billion dollars for 5 years, yesterday they also invested 1 billion dollars over 5 years, just asking for my Sunday school teacher, correct me if I am wrong,”Rufai added.
