Terrorists Organizations funded by USAID

JUST IN: How US Funds Taliban, Other Terrorist Organizations Weekly Through USAID — DOGE Reveals NGOs Lobby White House for Terror Financing

The U.S. government is reportedly sending $40 million weekly to the Taliban through USAID funds, according to shocking revelations during a recent congressional hearing.

Mr. Roman, a witness at the hearing, disclosed that U.S. foreign aid has also indirectly supported other terrorist organizations, including al-Shabaab in Somalia, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and militant groups in Syria and Sudan.

The revelations as shared by the renowned investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, made under the oversight of the Department of Governmental Oversight and Ethics (DOGE), highlighted how non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and international agencies allegedly lobby the White House to weaken anti-terror financing measures.

Testimonies during the hearing revealed that USAID had issued emergency waivers that bypassed standard vetting procedures, leading to 90% of U.S. aid in Gaza ending up in Hamas-controlled areas.

Mr. Roman criticized the move, stating that the aid effectively helped Hamas sustain itself until the recent ceasefire with Israel.

He argued that the emergency waivers jettisoned the usual screening protocols, turning U.S. humanitarian assistance into a lifeline for terrorist organizations.

The lack of strategic oversight and accountability has raised questions about the effectiveness of U.S. foreign aid policies in conflict zones.

Mr. Primerack, another witness, detailed how international NGOs and U.N. agencies actively lobby against strict vetting policies meant to prevent U.S. aid from reaching terrorist groups.

He accused USAID of funding external lobbyists who advocate for more funding from Congress, inadvertently boosting organizations with anti-American agendas.

According to DOGE, these lobbying efforts have also contributed to blocking legislation like H.R. 160, a bill that sought to increase transparency in USAID’s funding of overseas organizations and tighten controls against terror financing.

The hearing also exposed how the Biden administration allegedly overturned regulations that required comprehensive vetting of individuals handling funds in terrorist-prone regions.

Witnesses warned that these policy shifts not only aid terrorist organizations but also push many countries toward Chinese influence.

The testimonies underscored the urgent need for stricter legislative oversight and the reintroduction of anti-terror financing bills to safeguard U.S. national security interests and prevent foreign aid from being exploited by extremist groups.
