Nigerian singer Llona has revealed how Benue police officers shot Ahenjir Emmanuella, a student of Federal University Wukari in Taraba State to death while she was returning from his (Llona’s) show.
Llona made this revelation in a post he shared on his official X handle.
He lamented that the people that are meant to protect the people are now the ones killing them. He further urged authorities to intervene and bring justice to the issue.
His post reads,”Yesterday, Ahenjir Emmanuella, a student of Federal University Wukari was shot and killed by officers of the Benue Police on her way home after my show.I can’t lie, this has deeply gotten to me. She came out to have a good time and didn’t make it home. This is the fear we still live with in 2025.”

“The same people meant to protect us are the ones we keep avoiding??? This is heartbreaking. nobody deserves this. Her family doesn’t deserve this pain. Emmanuella didn’t deserve this end.We need to identify who did this. There has to be accountability.
