I Won’t Celebrate my 67th Birthday Due to Current Hardship in Nigeria – K1 De Ultimate

Renowned Nigerian musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely recognized as K1 De Ultimate, has decided to forgo his 67th birthday festivities.

With his birthday approaching on March 3rd, 2024, the Fuji legend cited the prevailing economic challenges in the country as the reason for this departure from the usual celebrations.

In a statement released via his Instagram recently, Kwam1 explained that “there is nothing much happening in our country Nigeria to warrant me celebrating at this point in time.”

He earnestly pleaded with his loved ones, urging them, “Rather than gathering to feast and revel on my upcoming birthday, please consider using this occasion to assist someone closer to you.”

Recalling recent events, it’s noted that Kwam1 urged Chief Bola Tinubu to swiftly address the escalating economic challenges during a recent performance.
