Comedian Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi, also known as Dara, has issued a public apology following allegations of infidelity.
She apologized during an interview on the Talk to B podcast on Saturday.
She said, “Ijoba Lande, don’t be upset with me. I’m also begging everybody that I have disappointed and Nigerians all over the world. This is not who I am, but I did not pray to make such mistake again. And I will never walk close to it again.
“I beg you in the name of God, I’m so sorry, I’m very sorry”.
Her apology followed pleas from actor Baba Tee and Mary Gold, who urged Lande to forgive her.
It should be recalled that Ijoba Lande recently accused Nollywood actor Baba Tee and other colleagues of having affairs with his wife, Dara.

Initially denying the allegations, Baba Tee later confessed to having a brief sexual encounter (quickie) with Dara and issued a public apology to Lande.
Similarly, Mary Gold—who was both Lande’s manager and his wife’s best friend—also sought his forgiveness, admitting that she had taken Dara to Baba Tee’s house, where the affair occurred.
