The music industry is abuzz with controversy as singer Portable publicly criticized rapper Oladips for allegedly faking his own death to promote his upcoming album.

The saga began when Oladips’ manager announced the rapper’s passing on social media earlier this week.

However, the plot thickened as Qdot, a close associate of Oladips, took to Instagram the following day to assert that the rapper is very much alive, sharing a photo with the caption, “@oladipsoflife, my gee is alive.”

Portable, set to release his album titled ‘Street Donjazzy,’ expressed his disdain for such promotional tactics in a viral video circulating on the internet.

In the video, he said, “I’m not tired of life now. I’m still very much alive. I can’t use my own life to play in such a way because I’m still very happy with life. I will not use my death to promote an album,” he revealed.

As fans and industry insiders await further developments, Oladips has yet to publicly address the accusations made by Portable.
