The former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, who was removed from office, recently addressed his impeachment, the political dynamics within the state, the sway of political godfathers, and the contentious issue of campaign vehicles allotted during his term.
Shaibu admitted to possessing the vehicles but offered a new viewpoint on why he might be hesitant to surrender them, portraying those urging their return as lacking empathy.
He said, “The vehicles they are referring to are the two Prado SUVs, one Hilux, and the Land Cruiser. I took all those vehicles… So, you can see how heartless men can be.”
