United States president-elect, Donald Trump, has stated that Canadian nations will be secured from the threats of Russia and China if they agree to merge with the United States.
Trump’s words are coming following the resignation of Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, earlier announced his resignation on Monday.
Trudeau’s resignation follows polls that show his party is likely to suffer a heavy defeat to the official opposition, the Conservatives, in an election that must be held by late October.

“Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State. The United States can no longer suffer the massive Trade Deficits and Subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat. Justin Trudeau knew this, and resigned,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“If Canada merged with the U.S., there would be no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them. Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!” he added.
