Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman, has expressed confidence in his growth as a player, claiming that he is now performing at a higher level.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph last season, scoring a hat-trick in the final against Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Lookman has been the standout performer for Atalanta over the past two seasons, and his form has earned him recognition on the global stage.
He finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings and is a strong contender for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
In a recent interview with BBC, Lookman spoke about the confidence he now has in his abilities to create, score, and assist his teammates.
Lookman stated, “I have the confidence in my ability to create, to score goals, to help my teammates, to assist them.
