Former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reassured Nigerians of his commitment to providing focused leadership despite the prevailing economic challenges in the country.
Speaking during an interaction with Nigerians in Beijing, China, on Friday, Tinubu acknowledged the difficulty in achieving national consensus but maintained his dedication to steering the country in the right direction.
The former Governor highlighted that while his role is to offer leadership, the responsibility of nation-building also lies in the hands of Nigerians.
He stated, “We want our children to be in good schools, not tattered huts and dilapidated buildings. We must make our teaching innovative and allow businesses of all kinds and sizes to flourish.
“One economic action leads to another, and it is in your hands to build our nation. Mine is to provide leadership, and I am committed to doing just that. We are focused, and I have a very good team,” he added.
