Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has expressed hope that star forward Kylian Mbappé could have a change of heart and decide to stay with the club, despite indicating his intention to leave.
Mbappé, who has informed the Ligue 1 champions of his desire to depart, has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Speaking ahead of PSG’s league fixture against Marseille on Sunday, Enrique conveyed his optimism during an interview with Prime Video Sport France.
He emphasized that he has not given up on the possibility of the French international continuing his career in Paris.
When asked if it will be Mbappé’s final chance to play in Le Classique would influence his starting lineup, Luis Enrique stated, “Why will it be his final derby?

“Me, I’ve always remained hopeful that Kylian could change his mind — he hasn’t said anything for now. He could change his mind.
“Imagine if we win four trophies this season and Kylian Mbappé decides at the last minute that he wants to stay in Paris,” he added.
