The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is investigating the discovery of filled result sheets in some polling units in Kogi.

Recall that Parallel Facts earlier reported Youth Initiative for Advocacy, Growth, and Advancement (YIAGA) had called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to investigate a pre-filled election results sheet discovered in PU 004, Eni Ward of Ogori/Magongo in Kogi.

Addressing the allegation in a statement on Saturday on INEC News X handle, said that it was taking the situation seriously and that its senior officials deployed to the state were currently investigating the incident(s).

The commission said that it would communicate its decision “earnestly.”

The discovery of filled result sheets is a serious allegation that could undermine the integrity of the ongoing Kogi State governorship election.
