Gunmen have killed Musa Ille, the Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Ille was gunned down in front of his residence when the attackers raided his home on Monday night.
Garba Garewa, the PDP Chairman in the local government, verified the incident, confirming the death of the party’s secretary in Tsafe to Channels Television on Tuesday.
“We are suspecting his killers to be bandits, they entered his house yesterday (Monday) and shot him,” Garewa stated.

Abubakar Tsafe, a local resident said that upon the gunmen’s arrival in the vicinity, they called the secretary to investigate something behind his residence.
Unaware of the armed bandits’ presence, Ille stepped outside as requested.
As of now, the police authorities in the state have not issued any statements regarding the incident.
