Nnamdi Kanu, the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has made a resolute declaration that he could swiftly resolve the insecurity gripping the South East region within a mere two minutes, provided he is released from detention.
Asserting his dominance, Kanu stated that no one within the South East could challenge his directives regarding the security affairs of the area.
In a moment of frustration, the fervent Biafra advocate expressed his sentiments during a press conference held within the premises of the Abuja Federal High Court on Tuesday.
Kanu said, “I suspect that some people in government are making money out of insecurity in the South East; they know that once Nnamdi Kanu is outside, in two minutes, this nonsense will stop.

“Who’s the idiot that can alter my orders in the South East? Nobody can. I, Nnamdi Kanu, let me come out of this nonsense, and in two minutes, there will be peace in the South East.”
Earlier, Justice Binta Nyako rejected Kanu’s bail application. Nonetheless, she mandated a swift proceedings for Kanu’s case, which pertains to charges related to terrorism and treasonable felony.
Kanu, detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) since his apprehension in June 2021, appeared before the court on Tuesday.
Justice Nyako emphasized that the court would prioritize an expedited hearing and instructed the prosecution to summon its initial witness.
