INSECURITY: Terrorists Kidnap Kogi APC LG Chairman, Aides

The Kogi State local government chairman of Kabba-Bunu, Zacchaeus Michael, has been kidnapped by gunmen.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Saturday.

Aya reported that Michael was abducted on Friday night along the Kabba-Okene Road in the Kabba area of Kogi State.

“Yes, I got the information. The state Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, has already deployed officers for a search-and-rescue mission. We are on top of the situation,” Aya said.

Reports indicate that Zacchaeus Dare Michael, the CTC Kabba/Bunu Chairman, along with some of his aides, was kidnapped by gunmen on the Kabba-Okene Expressway in Kabba.
