Ireti Kingibe, senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at the Nigerian Senate, has launched the 62Forward Mandate Portal, a new initiative aimed at fostering responsive and inclusive governance across the FCT.
In her post on X, Ireti emphasized that the innovative 62Forward Mandate Portal is designed to empower citizens at the ward level to identify and address the most pressing challenges within their communities.
This initiative, which reflects her commitment to responsive and inclusive governance, underscores the importance of upholding democratic principles by ensuring that every voice is heard and concerns are effectively addressed across the FCT.
She emphasized that the 62Forward Mandate Portal is built around 20 key action points derived from the demands and concerns expressed by the Nigerian people.
Senator Kingibe reiterated her dedication to upholding democratic principles by ensuring that every voice within the FCT is heard and that concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
However, she emphasized that tackling complex policy challenges demands collaborative solutions that go beyond conventional methods. Through direct citizen involvement via the portal, the initiative seeks to improve public service delivery and achieve common policy objectives.

The platform encourages all FCT residents to actively engage in the governance process by identifying and prioritizing the most urgent needs in their communities.
