On Friday, guided by IDF intelligence, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted and eliminated Ahmed Jafar Maatouk, the Hezbollah commander of the Bint Jbeil area.
The following day, under IDF intelligence guidance, the IAF eliminated Maatouk’s successor. In the same strike, Hezbollah’s head of artillery in the Bint Jbeil area was also eliminated.
These individuals were responsible for orchestrating numerous attacks from the Bint Jbeil area, including the launching of anti-tank missiles at Israeli civilians and IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon.

“The IDF will continue to operate against Hezbollah terrorists and commanders in defense of the citizens of Israel,” the military stated.
