It’s Time to Punish Wike, He Wants to Eat his Cake and Have it –Dele Momodu Tells PDP Leadership

Dele Momodu, a prominent figure within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called upon the party’s leadership to punish the Federal Capital Capital Territory minister, Nyesom Wike, expressing concern over Wike’s desire to “eat his cake and have it.”

Momodu expressed his frustration, stating that if he had the authority, he would have taken disciplinary action against Nyesom for allegedly working against the party’s interests.

He made revealation during an appearance on Arise Television, Momodu emphasised the need for the PDP leadership to address Wike’s behavior, citing it as detrimental to the party’s cohesion.

He remarked,: “If I had the power, I would have punished him long ago. The PDP leadership must have its reasons for keeping him while he continues to trouble the party.

“He wants to eat his cake and have it,” he added.

The ongoing feud between Nyesom and Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has resulted in a significant fallout for the PDP.

Reportedly, 25 state House of Assembly members, aligned with Wike, have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), while several commissioners from the state executive council have tendered their resignations.
