Ivory Coast coach Emerse Fae has expressed his confidence in his team’s chances of winning the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final against Nigeria on Sunday.
The Elephants, who are seeking their third continental title, will face the Super Eagles, who are aiming for their fourth, in a rematch of their group stage encounter, which ended in a 1-0 victory in favor of Nigeria.
Fae said he was satisfied with his team’s performance in the tournament so far, especially in the semi-final, where they defeated DR Congo 1-0.

“We will take stock in the next two days, we will analyze Nigeria, even though we played them in the group stage, we will see the strategy to implement for the final,” he said.
The AFCON final between Ivory Coast and Nigeria will kick off at 8 pm local time at the Alassane Ouattara stadium.
