Moyele Sowore, human rights activist and Convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement, has called on all Nigerian higher education institutions—including universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, and both private and public specialized institutions—to take part in the upcoming nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, Sowore urged these institutions to join the non-violent #DaysOfRage demonstration, highlighting its importance for both the institutions and the nation.
As a former presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), Sowore emphasized that the participation of these institutions is vital for Nigeria’s future and, by extension, the future of the African continent.
Sowore wrote, “We urge University, Polytechnic/Monotechnic, Colleges of Education, Professional and Specialized educational (Private and Public) institutions in Nigeria and beyond to freely join the non-violent #EndBadGovernace #DaysOfRage revolt from their respective campuses for the duration of the struggle.
