Judgement,

The President of the Court of Appeal, Monica Dongban-Mensem, has voiced her dissatisfaction with the public’s avoidance of her presence after the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal’s Judgement decision to uphold Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election.

Recall that the tribunal, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani and consisting of a five-man panel, faced criticism from some quarters, with many perceiving the outcome as a violation of democratic principles.

The decision was notably described as a “rape of democracy” by concerned Nigerians.

In a video clip shared by an X user identified as OjiUgo_nwa, Monica Dongban-Mensem was captured expressing her frustration, denouncing the perception that she played a role in overturning the will of the people in the 2023 presidential election Judgement.
