Julian Nagelsmann To Become German Head Coach

The appointment of former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann as the German national team head coach is confirmed.

The deal is expected to be completed in the coming days if all goes as planned.

This follows the exit of Hansi Flick after a poor outing in the 2022 World Cup Germany failed to qualify from the group stage.

According to Fabrizio Romano, “details left on the staff, but an agreement in principle reached with Nagelsmann and his agents on contract or salary”. The appointment is “Here we go,” and Julian Nagelsmann will open a new chapter as a National Team Head Coach.

Julian Nagelsmann was close to joining Chelsea in the summer as the London giant seeks a New manager after a season of renewed disaster for the Blues. Nagelsmann is known for his fluidity in attack and his Man management skills.

BILD said Julian Nagelsmann is expected to terminate an agreement with Bayern Munich which will lead to a forfeiture of £17m. He decides to soften the process to take charge of the German National Team.  Sandro Wagner will join Julian as an assistant until Euro 2024.
