JUST IN: Fire Guts NNPC Filling Station in Lagos

A Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) filling station at the Fadeyi area of Lagos State is currently on fire.

The fire, which started in the evening hours of Thursday, has caused traffic congestion around the place of the incident.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire incident is unknown as at the time of filing the report and there is also no official information on the extent of the damage caused by the fire.

However, in multiple videos seen by SaharaReporters on X, the fire was burning heavily and residents were calling for immediate intervention of fire service and other relevant emergency agencies. 

Sadly, the incident is coming barely six days after a report about the fire incident that occurred at The new Nigerian National Petroleum Company Terminal in Apapa, Lagos.
