Kaduna State Police Command has successful rescued a 37-year-old housewife who was kidnapped by unidentified armed assailants. The operation took place in the Dogarawa area of Sabon Gari Zaria Local Government Area.
ASP Mansur Hassan, the Public Relations Officer for the command, announced the successful rescue mission on Sunday. According to ASP Hassan, the police received a distress call around 1:00 AM, alerting them to the invasion of a private residence by a group of armed individuals. The identity and number of the assailants remain unknown.

Upon receiving the alert, a patrol team was immediately dispatched to the location. The officers engaged in a pursuit of the kidnappers, and due to the superior firepower of the police, the criminals were forced to abandon the victim, leading to her safe recovery.
The rescued housewife has since been reunited with her family, unharmed by the ordeal. ASP Hassan confirmed that an investigation is currently underway, with increased efforts to apprehend the suspects who are still at large. The police are determined to ensure that the perpetrators face justice.
The police spokesperson has also issued an appeal to the residents of Kaduna State, urging them to provide timely and valuable information that could aid in preventive measures against such criminal activities.
