Social commentator, Nefertiti @firstladyship, has drawn comparisons between Kemi Badenoch, UK Conservative Party leader, and Peter Obi, 2023 Labour party presidential candidate, praising their directness in addressing sensitive issues.
Referring to Badenoch’s recent controversial statements about Nigeria, Nefertiti argued that the establishment must reflect on the nation’s flaws rather than criticize her candor.
Highlighting her Yoruba identity over a Nigerian one, Badenoch’s remarks, including allegations against the Nigerian Police, have sparked debates.
However, Nefertiti in her official Twitter page applauded Kemi and concluded that “If you don’t like what she said, you should go to court!”
She tweeted, “Kemi Badenoch was on her own, minding her business. Then Madam Abike Dabiri & her co-busybody started their usual clout chasing. They wanted Kemi to give them some free PR; then it backfired. Bobo Shettima thought it was the moment for him to shine. He put up his own ring light, & decided to perspire to maguire.
“Now Madam Kemi is unhinged, & out for her pound of flesh; & she must have it. They will have to travel to the UK with Schnapps & kola. They have offended the gods. They should pour some libation & bring their peace offering. The gods are angry, & must be must be pacified!
“She said she is less Nigerian, she identify as Yoruba. I see no difference in what she said, & what Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said. Madam Kemi is simply saying “Yoruba lokan.” I have no qualms with that. Leave her alone! She is holding it down in our UK branch. The prolific striker is our biggest signing this season.
