Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who utilized taxpayers’ funds for his journey to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to partake in the 37th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government, has drawn attention for being observed sleeping during the summit.

The two-day meeting, addressing the AU’s theme for 2024, “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century,” gathered African leaders to discuss crucial continental issues.

Criticism arose on social media, with Nigerians expressing discontent over Tinubu‘s perceived lack of engagement during the summit.
