In a poignant letter delivered on the House floor on Thursday, Rt Hon Enema Paul expressed appreciation and admiration for Governor Yahaya Bello, underscoring the governor’s steadfast support and care throughout his tenure.

While acknowledging the love and prayers extended by Governor Bello and the 7th Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Enema Paul disclosed that his health challenges began in 2011.

Despite seeking medical treatment abroad with the support and approval of Governor Bello, his health condition persisted, causing his strength to wane daily. He noted the continued insistence from the overseas hospital for his return for ongoing treatment.

As a result, seeking a one-year hiatus for medical care abroad, Rt Hon Enema Paul submitted his resignation, a decision that the House accepted.
