Kogi Gov Usman Ododo Names Cabinet Members, Key Aides on First Day in Office

On his inaugural day as the newly sworn-in Governor of Kogi, Ahmed Usman Ododo wasted no time in announcing the appointment of cabinet members and key aides.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Muhammadu Buhari Mini Stadium in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, on Saturday, where Governor Ododo announced his first set of appointments in the course of his inaugural speech.

Among the appointees are commissioners and other top aides, with some individuals having previously served in the administration of the immediate past governor, Yahaya Bello.

Notable figures from the previous government, including the former Secretary to the State Government (SGF), Folashade Ayoade Arike, Kingsley Fanwo, and Deedat Salami Ozigi, have been nominated for various positions in Governor Ododo’s administration.
