Kano Guber: Kwankwaso Organises Special Prayer Ahead of Supreme Court Verdict

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the Kwankwasiyya political movement has convened a special prayer session at his residence in Kano on Monday.

The Islamic group, Mu’assatul Kwankwasiyya, orchestrated the gathering, aiming for divine intervention leading up to the Supreme Court’s impending verdict in the Kano gubernatorial election dispute.

Renowned clerics including Mallam Yahaya Sufi, Mallam Ashiru Nata’ala, Mallam Bazallahi Nasiru Kabara, and Mallam Sadiq Isiyaku Rabiu guided the faithful in supplications.

The prayers were directed towards the success of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the apex court and for the ongoing peace and stability within the State.

The prayer session attracted attendees from various corners of Kano, comprising members of the incumbent administration’s cabinet, political appointees, and fervent Kwankwasiyya supporters.

The development follows a recent hearing where a five-member panel, led by Justice Inyang Okoro, reserved judgment last Thursday after considering arguments from all parties involved.
