Lagos Police Arrest Suspected Cultist With Weapons and Charms

In a recent development, officers from the Orile Division of the Lagos State Police Command has successfully apprehended a 27-year-old suspected cultist identified as Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Small Mercy.

The arrest, made public through the command’s official X platform on Sunday, disclosed that Ololade was found in possession of an array of alarming items.

The confiscated items included one locally made pistol, two single barrel shotguns, six live cartridges, seven live 7.65mm ammunition, and one live 9mm ammunition. Additionally, Ololade was discovered with two axes and an assortment of charms.

The caption accompanying the post stated, “27-year-old suspected cultist, Ahmed Ololade aka Small Mercy, has been arrested by officers of Orile Division in possession of the following items: 1 locally made pistol, 2 single barrel shotguns, 6 live cartridges, 7 live 7.65mm ammunition, 1 live 9mm ammunition, two axes, and charms.”

The police assured the public that the investigation into the case is currently underway.
