Lagos State Government Suspends Airlifting of Second Batch of Pilgrims to Israel

The Lagos State Government has announced the suspension of the airlifting of the second batch of intending pilgrims to Israel due to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

In a press release, the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) stated that this decision was made after a keen observation of the security situation in Israel. The safety of all pilgrims to the holy land is a priority for both the Lagos State Government and the Federal Government.

The LSCPWB and the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) will announce a new date for the airlifting of the second batch of intending pilgrims. The Lagos State Government assures that it will not expose Nigerians to any situation that will put their security at risk.

The Lagos State Government urges all intending pilgrims and their families to remain calm as they work towards resolving the situation. They also request prayers for peace in Israel and other parts of the world.
