A tragic incident unfolded outside a courthouse in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, as a lawyer from Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area, identified as Eze Agala, collapsed and passed away, leaving colleagues in shock and confusion.
The unfortunate event occurred as Agala stepped outside the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
He was swiftly transported to the Police Clinic where his death was confirmed.

As of now, the leadership of the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has refrained from commenting on the incident.
However, Felix Ashimole, another lawyer in the state, seemingly confirmed the occurrence through a WhatsApp message shared across various platforms within the state.
