Ademola Lookman played a crucial role in Atalanta’s 3-0 win against Shakhtar Donetsk in their UEFA Champions League match at the VELTINS-Arena on Wednesday night.
He contributed both a goal and an assist, helping his team secure a commanding victory.
The 26-year-old forward assisted Switzerland international Berat Djimsiti in scoring the opening goal in the 21st minute. Lookman then doubled Atalanta’s lead just before halftime, scoring one minute before the break with an assist from Saed Kolasinac.

Raoul Bellanova sealed the victory for Atalanta by scoring the third goal just three minutes into the second half. Lookman was substituted for Matteo Retegui on the hour mark.
Atalanta’s next match in the competition will see them host Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.
