Senator Athan Achonu, the Labour Party candidate for Imo State Governorship, encountered a tense situation today while attempting to pay a visit to Hon. Tochi Okere, the Representative for Owerri Federal Constituency.
Achonu’s convoy was impeded and faced aggression from members of the anti-kidnapping unit of the Imo Police command near Orie Obibiezena, Owerri West LGA.
