Man Laments Sales of Fake Drugs at UCH Ibadan

The Federal Government-owned University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State, has been accused of selling fake drugs.

An X user, @ThetundeT, raised the alarm on X while sharing how he has gullibly been spending money on drugs to cure his wife’s thyroid in the last two years but turned out to be fake.

Stating further, as posted by instablog, Tunde believes Nigeria is finished with a federal owned university selling fake drugs.

“We found out that the drugs we were buying for my wife’s thyroid treatment were fake. FAKE bro! We dey treat illness over 2 years like mumu.

“Guess what? Na UCH ibadan pharmacy we dey buy from.

“Any day I leave this country, I go first kneel down for airport as I land,” he said.

Reacting, another X user said, “It is deeply concerning that individuals entrusted with protecting public health could perpetuate such deception, highlighting the critical need for transparent regulatory mensures and robust investigative journalism to uncover and address instances of corruption that jeopardize healthcare systems.”

@delviddyion argued, “Who knows how many of those types of drugs are out there being used as we speak?”

“Good, as he mentioned the names of the pharmacy, unless we start calling them, this nonsense will not stop,” @iamkelechi0 stated.
