Many African Countries Are Now Procuring Arms and Ammunition From Nigeria — Tinubu’s Minister, Matawalle

The Federal Government has announced that several African countries have begun procuring arms and ammunition from Nigeria through the Defence Industry Corporation of Nigeria (DICON).

This development was attributed to the new DICON Act 2023, which is expected to significantly enhance Nigeria’s national development and security by increasing foreign exchange earnings.

The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, made this disclosure at a press briefing held at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja on Monday.
