Social commentator Shehu Gazali Sadiq has revealed the sad reality that many Nigerians will sing the praises of Bola Tinubu before the 2027 election after being offered just three cups of rice.
He made this statement in a post he shared in his official X handle.
Sadiq in his post recalled his discussion with his wife. According to him, his wife stated that no one will vote Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election due to the level of hardship he has put Nigerians into.
Sadly, he explained that he feels angry knowing fully well that Nigerians are chicken hearted and can be swept off their feet when offered gifts.
His words, “My wife said nobody will vote for Tinubu in 2027 due to widespread misery and poverty.
“I’m angry because I expected her to understand Nigerians by now. Many will praise Tinubu before the election for three cups of rice. Perhaps my wife is dreaming.”
