Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has condemned the silence that has greeted the systematic killing of Christians in Nigeria.
In a post on X, the rapper said that if these Christians lived in urban cities with access to the internet, electricity and other modern amenities, there would be global outrage.

“THESE KILLINGS ARE SO CRAZY BECAUSE THE VICTIMS ARE NOT LIKE US THAT LIVE IN URBAN AREAS.
“UNLIKE THEM WE HAVE SO MANY DISTRACTIONS FOR US. INTERNET, CLUBBING, GAMING ETC
“BUT FOR THESE PEOPLE ALL THEY KNOW IS THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
“THEY PROBABLY DO NOT EVEN HAVE ELECTRICITY SO ALL THEY HAVE IS THEMSELVES.
“ONLY FOR THEM TO BE KILLED MERCILESSLY AND ITS NOT GETTING SO MUCH OUTRAGE CAUSE OF THEIR CLASS IN THE SOCIETY”.
While the world’s attention shifts from crisis to crisis, something of staggering proportions is happening with little notice: a genocide against Christians in Nigeria, carried out by Islamic militants.
The violence is escalating. In just the first 220 days of 2025, an estimated 7,000 Christians were killed in Nigeria—an average of thirty-five deaths every single day, according to the International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law.
These attacks are carried out by radical groups and Fulani militants, often aligned with Islamist extremist ideologies.
Although much of the world and certainly the mainstream media have largely ignored the plight of these Christains in Nigeria, Odumodu is now demanding that the world speak up against it.
