After Kylian Mbappé’s announcement that he would not be renewing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, reports have been swirling about his current finalization stages of moving to Real Madrid, with the transfer set to become official from July 1.
Spanish newspaper ‘Marca’ initially reported that the French superstar had already inked a deal with the ‘Merengues’. However, shortly afterward, another Spanish media outlet, ‘Relevo’, contradicted this claim, stating that no contract had been signed yet and negotiations between ‘Los Blancos’ and Mbappe’s camp were still ongoing.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, a renowned expert in the transfer market, both him and his representatives are currently ironing out the final details of his contract with Real Madrid, set to take effect from July 1.

Critical aspects such as image rights and signing bonuses are yet to be finalized, with Mbappe’s base salary expected to be comparable to that of other Spanish talents like Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham.
Additionally, Romano revealed that both Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe will officially announce their separation once the French international completes his move to Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
