There’s ‘Secret Govt Memo’ Against Giving Igbos Political Positions, Opportunities — Omoyele Sowore Alleges

Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has asserted that Nigeria must break up for Igbos to thrive, citing what he described as a “secret memo” within the government.

According to Sowore, the memo advises caution in dealing with Igbos, suggesting that they are systematically restricted from accessing key political positions and opportunities in the country.

Speaking on the Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, known as Nedu, Sowore claimed, “Nigeria has an Igbo problem.

He stated, “Nigeria has an Igbo problem. There is a secret memo in the government to be careful of Igbos. The memo is against giving the Igbos political positions and opportunities.

“For an Igbo man to survive in Nigeria as it is currently put together, Nigeria must break,” he added.
