Mob Burns Suspected Motorcycle Thief To Death In Adamawa

Mob

A man accused of stealing a motorcycle met a gruesome end on Thursday, when he was set ablaze by an angry mob at Ngurore market in Adamawa State.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Yola-South Local Government Area of the state, where cases of vehicle theft are rampant.

The mob doused the suspect with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, and lit him on fire, ignoring his pleas for mercy.

An eyewitness, who spoke to SaharaReporters, said the scene was horrifying. “I guess the angry mob resorted to jungle justice as deterrent measure because of the frequent theft of vehicles in this area,” the eyewitness said. “It was horrible to watch a fellow human being burn to death.”
