Former Labour Party governorship aspirant in Anambra, Ikenga Azomchine, has stated that the APC spokesperson, Felix Morka, should be made to withdraw his statement and be arrested for speaking ill of Peter Obi.
Morka had called out Obi on Arise TV over his constant criticism of the Bola Tinubu administration.
Meanwhile Peter Obi’s seemingly offence was saying that Nigeria is increasingly transforming into an authoritarian and repressive regime, where freedom of expression is being systematically suppressed.
“No, he is the one that is throwing darts. Mr Obi is shooting from the hip. He is not looking, he is not taking an aim. He just shoots wildly like what we used to see in movies back in the day, in the Wild Wild West,” Morka said.
He said Obi is irrational in his thinking and in his public commentary, “for a man who was governor for eight years, who left nothing to remember in Anambra State by a way of legacy or transformation.
”Morka said the former governor who couldn’t make Anambra the example of governance in the country, is sulking because he lost the 2023 presidential election to Tinubu.

He said Obi should disregard the idea that he can bring down the government by being maliciously deceptive, just as he urged him to rather focus on why he lost the presidential election.
He concluded by stating that he’s not the type to go on the offensive “but Mr Obi has crossed the line so many times and I think that at this point he has coming to him whatever he gets, he needs to manage it.”
Reacting to his statement in an interview on Arise TV, Azomchine maintained that Morka is playing a script written down by his master because he doesn’t have any idea of who Peter Obi is and his achievements as a governor of Anambra State and as such don’t have any right to talk about him in such a manner.
He reminded him that Obidients are very patient group of people but warned him of an impending anarchy if he continues to threaten Peter Obi.
He further added that as an opposition leader, Obi won’t see the wrong going on in Tinubu’s government and keep quiet.
He noted that there’s nothing bad in what Peter Obi said and as such Felix Morka should be called to order and arrested.
He’s words,”I think Mr. Morka is playing a script. He’s possibly trying to impress his master because he was talking about Peter Obi’s achievements in Anambra state.
“I think he should go back and read properly before attempting to address Peter Obi’s achievements in Anambra State but first of all we have to warn Prince Morka.
“Obidients are very patient people, we were wounded in 2023 and we accepted it, we accepted all principle’s plea for us to be calm but let him be warned that anarchy is by the corner by the time he starts to threaten.

“He has no right to speak the way he is speaking. Peter Obi is a decent man, infact, Obidients are angry with Peter Obi.
“We are calling on the APC government to call Prince Morka to order, he have to withdraw his statement. Infact he should be arrested for threatening an opposition.”
