Motorists plying the Mowo-Ikoga road in Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State have expressed serious concern over the deplorable state of the road.
The road, which serves as a vital link between the town and Ado-Odo in Ogun, is reportedly in a pitiful state. The presence of numerous potholes and the impact of recent heavy rainfall have further deteriorated the condition of the road.
Sections of the road, including Angel Gabriel Bridge, Iyana Ilogbo, Anospat, Alafia, and Avia, have become almost impassable. This has resulted in significant hardship for road users, particularly since the onset of the rainy season.
Motorists have called on the relevant authorities to urgently address the situation. The poor state of the road not only poses a risk to vehicles and their occupants but also significantly hampers movement and economic activities in the area.
