My Husband not a Magician – Remi Tinubu

At the interdenominational church service held on Sunday to commemorate Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary, Remi Tinubu said that her husband, Bola Tinubu, is working hard to repair the broken nation he inherited. She also emphasised that he is not a magician who will make everything right with the wave of a wand.

“All we inherited are things that had happened many years ago; we are not here to put blame on any administration but to fix what has been damaged.

“My husband is not a magician; he is going to work, and I believe and hope that we will have peace in this country; the best is yet to come to us,” she said.

Mrs. Tinubu also urged the people to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be loving, peaceful, and forgiving, as these are the only attributes that allow for good governance to be impactful.

In addition, Remi Tinubu told the congregation that “a Nigeria of abundance has begun, and to be part of the greatness that God has started in the nation, Nigerians must look beyond their current realities and embrace hope anew.”

Bola Tinubu’s administration continues to be faced with a countless number of problems, with his legitimacy as the sworn president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria being the major one.
