The Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, has said he is not bothered about the 2027 elections, as his priority is fixing Abia State.
He stated this on Saturday at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuikaa District headquarters, Isialangwa South Local Government Area, assuring all that he would remain focused on doing the right thing.
Otti said that nobody is entitled to distract his government with 2027 elections. According to him, the God who settled the 2023 elections will do the same for the upcoming election.
Otti, who was at the church worship with his wife, Priscilla Chidinma, said, “This government will continue to do the right thing. No one, or group of people, whoever they are, none of them is entitled to distract us.

“So, when they make noise, like I said last week, we should not be bothered about noise. We should just remain focused and do what we have to do.
“Sometimes, I worry if it is the 2027 election they are talking about, or maybe there’s another election coming up, but the same way God delivered me in 2023, that is the way he will deliver me in 2027.”
