Napoli’s Osimhen Set to Join PSG in €120m Deal, Leaving Chelsea Empty-handed

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is on the verge of completing a sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a staggering €120 million (£103m/$129m), dealing a blow to Chelsea’s transfer aspirations.

The Nigerian international had attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Chelsea, but negotiations between Napoli and PSG have progressed significantly, according to reports from Italian outlet Il Mattino.

PSG’s determination to secure Osimhen’s services has seen them outmaneuver competitors like Chelsea in the race for the 23-year-old’s signature.

The French giants are poised to activate Osimhen’s €120 million release clause and present him with an enticing four-year contract worth €13 million (£11m/$14m) per season.
