Senate President Godswill Akpabio has announced that the lifespan of the 2024 budget will be extended until June 25, 2025.
He made this disclosure during his opening remarks at the presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill by Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday
He stated that the 2024 budget achieved 50% performance for capital expenditure and 48% for recurrent expenditure.
