Renowned broadcaster and journalist Oseni Rufai has stated that he wouldn’t be surprised if the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) add ritual killing to Gross Domestic Product, GDP.
This comes following the incessant news of how the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, on January 10 revealed that illegal and hidden activities like prostitution and drugs peddling will be included in the calculation of the country’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP.
Rufai in a post on his official X handle wrote,”At this rate, the NBS might also add ritual killings to the GDP. As we now reside in a country where the human body part is also sold.
“Also some things they might add to the GDP Kidnapping Election rigging Budget padding.”
